“La Lauda di
Francesco” is the DVD realized and produced by Alberto Parodi,
Angelo Branduardi and Vittorio Costa that contains the
integral version of the representetion about the life of St.
Francis of Assisi conceived by Angelo Branduardi.
With the “Lauda” Branduardi has invented a form of
representation that, recalling itself to the sacred and popular
theater of the XIII century, meets the origins of the Italian
language and it succeeds in being surprisingly actual still today.
In the show Angelo Branduardi embodies the figure of the
Troubadour: the wayfarer and narrator musician who, always in
scene, guide and accompanies the action.
In the DVD there are, besides a menu rich in extra contents,
photos in slideshow, that gives besides the possibility to watch
singly every scene of the show and to listen to one by one every
song of the show.
There is also a video related to the backstage that reconstructs
the whole day of the show, from the first phases of the
assemblage, the tests, up to the end of the representation with
interviews to the actors, ballet dancers and the same Branduardi
